Overlooking the village green, the main bar is the hub of the building.
We always have cask ale from Timothy Taylors and Theakstons available as well as other guest and craft beers from local micro brewers.
We have an extensive wine list that offers over 10 wines by the glass and a comprehensive selection of gins, spirits, malts and lagers.
With its welcoming wood burner, the main bar area is a drinkers paradise.
Crisp white linen, highly polished glass, flickering candles. Relax by the baby wood burner, your reserved table is yours for the night, we won't move you on!
The menu is the same as the brasserie, however the experience a touch more formal, yet still wonderfully relaxed.
Small Private Dining Room
Just off the main Restaurant this room seats between six and eleven covers on a large round table, perfect for that family celebration or corporate meeting.
Large Private Dining Room
Seating between 12 and 18 covers this has to be the ultimate in private dining. Pre order from a reduced selection from our a la carte menu or have us tailor a menu to meet your needs.
Lunch
Served Wednesday through Sunday 12 – 2pm (3pm Sunday) reservations are essential.
Soups, sandwiches, light lunch or three courses, the choice is yours.
Evening
Served Wednesday through Saturday.
In the evening we serve food in the Brasserie around the wood burner at the rear of the building and the snug farmers bar, with its gently smouldering open fire. The menu is identical to that of the restaurant.
Tables must be reserved. We operate a two sitting format in the Brasserie, the first from 6pm the second from 8.00pm. Tables in the snug are reservable from 6.30pm.
Reservations essential
A weekly changing menu made up from our lunchtime and evening menus as well as specials of that week and of course our fab roast rump of beef with Yorkshire Pud and free range roast pork belly. Sunday is all about the family so worry not, little people are well catered for too. Served 12pm-3pm.
